• Dispatch will contact you either the day before or day of to confirm your ride needs.
  • A driver will inform you when they are on the way.
  • Vehicles will wait a maximum of 3 minutes past the scheduled time. Drivers will leave after 3 min. Adhere to the time YOU scheduled.
  • Be ready and present at the assigned pick-up location to avoid delays.
  • If your ride is off-campus and a driver has not contacted you within 5min of pick up time, notify the Program Manager or dispatch.
  • All personal belongings must be secured during transport.
  • Crutches or mobility aids must be stored upright, not across your lap.
  • Take all belongings with you when exiting the vehicle. If you left or lost an item while being transported, contact dispatch first and then Lost and Found.
  • Drivers will assist with loading and unloading items and provide help exiting the vehicle. Drivers will not carry your belongings to and from your residence nor to and from class, unless prior approval has been given. Please communicate to the Program Manager if you require additional assistance.
  • Only approved students may ride.
  • No ride-sharing with friends, roommates, partners, or others is allowed unless prior approval is granted and it is medically necessary. Unauthorized riders will result in immediate suspension or removal from the program.
  • For safety, drivers may occasionally need to slow down in high pedestrian areas. Campus speed is 5mph
  • Drivers will do their best to find alternate routes and keep travel efficient, but safety is the top priority.
  • If consistent tardiness to class occurs due to transport delays, notify the Program Manager to evaluate and adjust pick-up times or routes accordingly.
  • Riders are expected to be punctual, respectful, and responsible.
  • Repeated no-shows or failure to cancel unwanted rides may lead to temporary suspension or permanent removal from the service.
  • While parents may contact the Program Manager or the Director of Veterans and Military Services, students are expected to communicate directly to promote independence and accountability.

If you experience any issues with a driver or a fellow rider, you are encouraged to:

  • Contact the Program Manager, or
  • Contact the Director of Veterans and Military Services. All concerns will be addressed with discretion and professionalism.
