All rides through UCSB Mobility Transport are pre-arranged and follow a set schedule. Same-day service is not available, so timely scheduling is essential.

Step 1:

Access the Campus Mobility Accommodation Form

To access the accommodation form. Complete the form with all required information and submit it at least 24 hours in advance to allow usto review and prepare accommodations

  • Requests submitted after 3:00 PM will not be processed until 9:00 AM the following business day.
  • Requests submitted after 3:00 PM on Fridays will be processed after 9:00 AM on Monday.
  • Missed scheduling deadlines will require you to make alternative transportation arrangements — no exceptions. (see Community Resources above)
  • If you do not hear back within 24hrs after submitting the form, please contact our office

Step 2:

Scheduling Your Ride

After applying, students will receive an approval email. The approval email will have detailed instructions in how to set up your rides.

Ride requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. If submissions are created after 4pm the day before, next day rides are not guaranteed. The Mobility Transport team finalizes the schedule by 5pm.

After submitting your requested pick up, dispatch may adjust your time by 10min +/- depending on the demand.

If you do not schedule in advance, you will be responsible for finding alternative transportation.

Step 3:

Ride Notifications & Arrival

The driver will notify you when they are within 10 minutes of your pick-up location (or sooner).

If you do not receive contact from the driver within 5 minutes of your scheduled pickup time, please contact Dispatch immediately.

Ride schedules may be subject to change due to capacity limits, staffing, or updates in medical documentation.

Wheelchair accessible transportation is available for both off-campus rides (using our wheelchair-accessible van) and on-campus rides (using our wheelchairaccessible cart).
